On May 23, Providence Public School teacher Y. Pan provided a fundraising lunch for teachers and staff at ASF @ Broad Street School and collected donation in the total of $463.00. Ms. Pan is grateful to her American colleagues for their generosity. She also wants to give her special thanks to her friends Mr. and Mrs. Rafael and Vet Diaz couple for donating Nam Chao, as well as Yiping Chen, Youfa Chen and Meiying Chen for their kind assistance in preparing and delivery of the big lunch.

On May 26, Dr. Chunsong Luo went to Sam’s Club in Warwick to raising fund with friends Jie Wan and Rex. Dr. Luo will lead 4 students from Johnson & Wales University to run another fundraising at the Stop & Shop in Cranston on May 31.

On May 29, fourteen students and three teachers from upper school of Moses Brown participated in a Bake Sale to raise fund for earthquake victims. The students and teachers are: Alex D’Agostino, Sherilyn DeStefano, Julie Croll, Edie Granoff, Mia Rotondi, Stephanie Tsang, Gill Zwicker, Nkosi Anthony, Cody Chen, Julia Metzger, Gaia Liotta, Jessie Villella, Patthana Symoungkoun, Camerin Brodie-Gifford, Mr. Elvis Alves, Ms. Dora Waters and Ms. Wenjun Kuai.  They raised $305 in total. Thanks to the boys, girls, teachers and parents.

On May 29, Red Ginger restaurant in Johnston was kept busy all day by customers coming over to show their support. Our committee members joined the event after a short meeting.

On May 29, the tickets for the fundraising dinner at Jacky’s Galaxie designed and printed by a Harvard student Kerry Yang were ready for sale. About 60 seats have been reserved.

On May 31, with the permission from RISD through the initial contact by Julian Zhu,  we will place donation boxes at the information table at their annual event “East Meets West” and the entrance of the auditorium to raise fund.

五月二十三日Providence Broad Street小学潘老师为教职工提供了筹款午餐。总共筹集善款$463.00. 她在此特别感谢朋友陈依平， 陈佑发和陈梅英三位在午餐准备工作上给予的全力支持。 并感谢学校同事的慷慨捐助。

五月二十六日，我们的监察委员罗春松与朋友Jie Wan 和 Rex一起在位于Warwick 的Sam’s Club发动捐款， 并计划五月三十日到Cranston的 Stop & Shop再次发动捐款， 将有Johnson & Wales 的四位同学前往助阵。

五月二十九日，经由中文老师蒯文君向学校社区服务委员会商讨，Moses Brown 高中部的十四位同学及三位老师组织点心义卖活动在校园内为地震灾民筹集善款。 共筹集了三百零五元。

五月二十九日位于Johnston 的新华餐馆为赈灾全日义卖。有不少华人同胞和美国客人闻讯前来， 厨房内外一片繁忙景象，成绩不俗。。我们多位委员在结束短会后也前往支持。

五月二十九日，经由杨庆教授二女儿精心设计制作的筹款晚餐票已完成并交付发售。已有约六十个座位被预订。

五月三十一日，经过Julian 与RISD联络，我们得到许可在他们举行的“东西交汇”活动上设置捐款箱。
