June 5. The list of donors from the Chinese Christian Church of Rhode Island has been posted to "DONOR NO.2". Thanks for your patience.

June 4. Our friends at Fortune Metal Inc. of Rhode Island just issued us a check of $10,000, which drove the total amount we have raised up to $150876.63. Thank you!

On June 1, Red Ginger owner Xiaoli Zheng presented a check of $3,558 to the committee. It includes everything the restaurant received on May 29. Thanks again to the owners, cooks and waitstaff for their hard work and contribution.

On May 31, volunteers from URI, Brown and Bryant helped to raise fund at the “East Meets West” event at RISD. We received great support from event coordinator Ms. Marianne Ruggiero and Mr. Harold at the RISD museum. Thanks to everyone.

On May 31, seven volunteers from Johnson & Wales worked hard raising fund at the Stop & Shop located at the intersection of Park Avenue and Atwood Avenue. The group led by J & W CSSA Chairman Yiyue Yang stayed there for 7 hours and raised $1,907 in total. The Stop & Shop offered assistance to our fundraising. We are grateful to all of them.

On June 2, China Buffet in East Greenwich was packed with URI faculty, students and their families as well as the local residents and people coming from the north. Volunteers from URI helped waiting at the tables. Owners were busy at greeting new and old customers and watching operation. They did a great job. Thanks to everybody.

June 3. It’s Royal Buffet’s day! The restaurant did a good job in advertising their fundraising effort to their regular customers, many of which did come back for lunch or dinner to show their support. Tony Chan, a vice chair of our committee, arrived at the restaurant in the morning to help with the preparation. Tony also raised extra fund from the customers. Many thanks to all.

六月四日，我们收到本州一间回收旧金属的公司 Fortune Metal Inc.捐出的善款一万美元

六月一日, 新华餐馆店主甄小莉女士将五月二十九日在他们餐馆筹到的善款共3558 元交予委员会. 让我们再次向餐馆全体员工表示感谢. 谢谢他们的辛劳, 爱心与奉献.

五月三十一日，我们在罗德岛设计学院举办的“东西交汇”活动中筹款。有下列同学前来相助：罗德岛大学：万惠， 刘宇宏， 赵会霞， 周隆；布朗大学：蒋志钧；布赖恩大学：姜倩。我们得到了活动主持人 Marianne Ruggier 和RISD 博物馆Harold 的帮助。在此向大家表示感谢。

五月三十一日，监察委员罗春松在位于Cranston 市 Park Ave. 与Atwood Ave.交口出的 Stop & Shop 主持了筹款活动。 Johnson & Wales 中国学生会主席杨宜岳带领六位同学辛勤工作了七个小时, 同学们不辞劳苦抱着捐款箱主动向两边入口进出的顾客靠拢攀谈, 积极争取他们的捐助. 因为站立太久, 有女同学不得已脱下鞋子让双脚休息, 但仍坚守职责. 一天的辛劳换回了1,907 元善款.  这些同学是: 杨宜岳, 赵瑾,高昆, 张强盛, 李楚翘, 李金明,苏文曦. 其间他们也得到Stop & Shop 管理方的支持. 在此一并感谢.

六月二日, 在East Greenwich China Buffet 举行的筹款活动得到了热列反响. 罗德岛大学的教师,学生和家属以及居住在East Greenwich 附近的华人同胞大批出动前往餐馆助阵. 更有不少家住北面的朋友到场. 餐馆老板不停地四处巡视, 热情地招呼待客. 服务员们更是忙得不亦乐乎, 罗德岛大学有四位同学陈延京，肖达，刘宇宏和孙耀峰也在帮助招待及收拾碗盘. 感谢大家.

六月三日,在Cranston的 Royal Buffet举行的筹款活动同样吸引了大批顾客前往. 委员会副主席陈和栋一大早就去到餐馆帮忙, 店主Danny 早早计划按周末的客流量准备好了原料. 据了解,因为餐馆有较充分的时间做宣传, 不少常客特意在今天返回餐表示对餐馆义举的支持. 陈和栋也周游于客人间争取到额外的捐款. 谢谢大家.
